Moving ICOTS Case to Historical Status: Rejected Cases Withdraw versus Close

There are two ways an ICOTS case is moved to historical status.  Withdraw or via Case Closure/Case Closure Reply.

Prior to physical transfer (record does not have a Notice of Arrival) the sending state may 'withdraw' the ICOTS case moving the case to historical status.

Once the supervising state on a compact case shifts to the receiving state (record has a Notice of Arrival & supervising state is listed as the receiving state) a case closure and case closure reply must be completed in order to move the case to historical status.
