Addendum to Violation Report Requiring Retaking

Use the Addendum to Violation Report Requiring Retaking for correspondence after reporting behavior requiring retaking. This ensures information consolidates to the official violation record in ICOTS and requires the sending state to respond (e.g. respond with a decision to retake after the probable cause hearing is conducted or availability status changes, etc.) 

DO NOT use Compact Action Requests to follow-up or to update violation information and/or status. 

Addendums require a violation response and can be sent anytime after the submission of the violation report into the workflow.

Addendum to Violation Report transmitted by the Receiving State Workflow:

• If sent BEFORE the original response, the workflow merges with the original report, 1 Violation Report Response Required from Sending State.
• If sent AFTER the original response, a NEW Violation Report Response is created to be transmitted by the Sending State.
