How to Unlock Your ICOTS Account to Login

There are 3 ways in which an ICOTS account can be 'locked.'  Please see the troubleshooting tips below to learn how to unlock your account.  NOTE:  ICOTS accounts are managed by State Administrators, not the ICAOS national office.

Account Lockout After Unsuccessful Login

"1 Error needs to be fixed.   Your account has been locked out.  Please try again later.

If you receive this message, it means someone has attempted to log into your ICOTS account unsuccessfully five times in a row with the wrong password.

You will be locked out for 20 minutes after your last unsuccessful login attempt. Once the 20 minutes have passed, you will have another five chances to log in successfully before being locked out again.

Account Lockout After 90 Days Inactivity
After 90 days of inactivity, ICOTS will require you to answer security questions.  If you provide incorrect answers, your account will be locked, and you will need to contact your state administrator to reset your security answers.
Account Lockout After Attempting to Reset Your Password
For security reasons, users must change their password every 90 days. If you attempt to reset your password, ICOTS will require you to answer security questions. Providing incorrect answers will lock your account, and you will need to contact your state administrator for assistance in resetting your security answers.
