How to Unlock Your ICOTS Account to Login

There are 3 ways in which an ICOTS account can be 'locked.'  Please see the troubleshooting tips below to learn how to unlock your account.  NOTE:  ICOTS accounts are managed by State Administrators, not the ICAOS national office.

Account Lockout After Unsuccessful Login

"1 Error needs to be fixed.   Your account has been locked out.  Please try again later.

If you receive this message, someone attempted to login to your ICOTS account unsuccessfully 5 times in a row with the wrong password.

The lockout only lasts for 20 minutes following your last unsuccessful login attempt. After the 20 minutes has passed you will have another 5 chances to login successfully before being locked out again.

Account Lockout After 90 Days Inactivity
After 90 days ICOTS will require a user to answer security questions.  If incorrect answers are provided, your ICOTS account will be locked and you will need to contact your state administrator to reset your security answers.
Account Lockout After Attempting to Reset Your Password
Per security requirements, users must change their password every 90 days.  ICOTS will require a user to answer security questions.  If incorrect answers are provided, your ICOTS account will be locked and you will need to contact your state administrator to reset your security answers.
