Split or Divided States in ICOTS

Divided States in ICOTS/INSITE

Some states use separate ICOTS/INSITE workflows for probation and parole cases. This system configuration may not reflect the state’s organizational structure outside ICOTS/INSITE.

ICOTS/INSITE automatically limits cases to either probation or parole supervision type.

Some states may require incoming dual-supervision cases to be submitted as separate ICOTS/INSITE cases to allow assignment to different users. For guidance on creating multiple cases, see Training Bulletin 4-2009i.
