During the 2025 Annual Business Meeting, several rule amendments were approved with an effective date of April 1, 2026. To prepare for these changes, several training opportunities are available.

Initial training for compact staff was held on December 3rd and 11th to review the rule amendments. Below is a link to the recording from the December 11th training for those who may have missed it or for those that may want to rewatch. We also held a final session to talk about guidance from the Training Committee regarding the 30-day absconder investigation on March 10th and 12th. The March 12th recording is provided below.
Several states have requested brief training videos to highlight the rule changes. The videos below can be shared with staff regarding the impact and the why behind the amendments.
