The Compact Action Requests Transmitted lists Compact Action Requests transmitted within a selected date range. These reports can assist states in identifying cases in need of a requested Progress Report, Compact Action Requests in need of a reply (or acknowledgement) as well as provides the ability to filter by CAR specializations and linked to other activities.
Incoming Cases- The dashboard displays compact action requests in which your state is the receiving state.
Outgoing Cases- The dashboard displays compact action requests in which your state is the sending state.
The dashboard can be filtered on date range, supervision type, which state transmitted the activity, specialization, whether a reply has been sent as well as whether a Progress Report is needed due to a request from a sending state.
Purpose: The report provides data for multiple uses by providing additional details (in comparison to the 'transmitted activity reports') for states to manage ICOTS communications using the unmanaged Compact Action Request activities. The data identify timeframes in which users respond to Compact Action Requests, cases in need of a requested Progress Report, Compact Action Requests in need of a reply (or acknowledgement) as well as provides the ability to filter by CAR specializations (demographic management, supervision updates, cost, fines and fees owed, etc.) and linked to other Compact activities. The detailed data can be export in csv format to further analyze in Excel.
*Note: The detailed table in this report uses a pivot table so USE the CSV export option, not the Excel export option.
Common Uses
Identify Cases in which your state needs to send a Progress Report: Use the Compact Action Requests Incoming Cases Report. Choose your date range in which the originating CAR requesting a Progress Report was submitted. The remaining filters should be set as pictured below. Be sure to export the data for further analysis, filtering and sorting. Exported details will display cases status, when the last progress report was transmitted on the case, users assigned to cases and offender identifying information.
Identify Cases in which your state has not responded to a Compact Action Request transmitted by the sending state: Use the Compact Action Requests Incoming Cases Report. Choose your date range in which the originating CAR requesting a Progress Report was transmitted by the sending state and set filters as outlined below. Export to Excel (csv) for further analysis.
Use the Outgoing Cases Report and choose 'receiving state' as the 'CAR Transmitted by' filter to identify cases in which your state has not responded to a Compact Action Request sent by the Receiving State.
Use the Outgoing Cases Report and choose 'sending state' as the 'CAR Transmitted by' filter to identify cases in which your state has not received a response to a Compact Action Request sent by your state.
Use the Incoming Cases Report and choose 'receiving state' as the 'CAR Transmitted by' filter to identify cases in which your state has not received a response to a Compact Action Request sent by your state.
