Code Release 33.2.0 - ICOTS Enhancements 2/15/18

On Thursday, February 15, 2018 three new enhancements will be launched in ICOTS. The national office will offer a brief Q & A session for these enhancements on Monday, February 12th at 2 pm ET and Tuesday February 13th at 11 am ET. Visit the ICAOS WebEx Training Center site to sign up.

This is the third of several enhancement releases to take place during FY 2018.

The descriptions of each change are as follows:

1.) New Electronic End User Agreement – Beginning February 15, 2018 states will no longer be required to maintain paper end user agreements for ICOTS users. States are still responsible for training on ICAOS Rules, ICOTS AND the privacy policy prior to providing users with an active account. All users will acknowledge they have read and agree to the ICOTS privacy policy upon their initial login on or after February 15th and in doing so, an email is generated to the Compact Office email designated in ICOTS. PLEASE NOTE, this applies to ALL ICOTS users so states should expect a lot of emails coming into their Compact Office designee address once this change is in place.

If your state wishes to setup email rules to handle the notifications regarding user agreements, you can use the following email format as a guide:

From: ICOTS Notification []
Sent: Monday, January 22, 2018 2:11 PM
To: Compact Office Email <{State Compact Office Designee Email}>
Subject: User Agreement signed for {User Name}

ICOTS User {User Name} ({User Email}) signed their User Agreement on Jan 01, 2018 02:11 PM
NOTICE: This electronic mail transmission is for the use of the named individual or entity to which it is directed and may contain information that is proprietary and/or confidential. It is not to be transmitted to or received by anyone other than the named addressee (or a person authorized to deliver it to the named addressee). It is not to be copied or forwarded to any unauthorized persons. If you have received this electronic mail transmission in error, delete it from your system immediately without copying or forwarding it, and notify the sender of the error by replying via email, so that our address record can be corrected.

2.) New attachment for Case Closure Notices – Attachment option added to the Case Closure Notice

3.) New ‘Invalid Reason for Closure’ added to email notifications for Case Closure Responses – Email notifications include the explanation when a sending state transmits a case closure notice response invalidating the closure.
