ICOTS 11B code release is in production on November 3rd and implements the development items described below:

Case Closure Notification

  • Any assigned receiving state user, no longer limited to the supervising user, has the option to create a Case Closure Notification.
  • Only current criminal case information displays on the Case Closure Notification.
  • Accessing a Case Closure Notification from the Compact Workload should no longer result in errors.

A new security measure prohibiting automated system hackers from accessing ICOTS, locks a user account after 10 failed login attempts. Once locked out, the user must wait 10 minutes to attempt another log in.

Deactivating Accounts

State administrators no longer experience errors when deactivating user accounts.

* Some accounts previously deactivated may reactivate at the time of the code release. Xavier Donnelly, ICOTS National Administrator, will send each state administrator a list of accounts to ‘re-deactivate’ when the information becomes available.
