Rejected Cases Withdraw versus Close

To allow for additional activities or requests, rejections to transfer requests and/or denial of reporting instructions do not deactivate cases.

The sending state must withdraw the case from the offender profile screen to remove the cases from the active workload if no movement/supervision responsibilities transferred to the receiving state via previously approved reporting instructions.

If the offender was in the receiving state via reporting instructions, transfer is rejected and offender needs to return to the sending state, the case closure notice should be sent at the time the offender departs to return (maintain seamless supervision/track offender movement.)
