Resolved - Text on OVR PDF showing "%20" where spaces should be

9-26-2014_9-32-42_AM.png

An issue has started on the OVR PDF where spaces in the "Describe specific conditions violated" section are replaced with "%20", making the text unreadable.

This issue only shows up if the user goes back in to that section to edit it after initially saving it.

It is possible for users in the sending state to make the text readable by copy and pasting it from the PDF to a website like http://urldecoder.waraxe.us/ to decode it.

Appriss is aware of this issue and has scheduled a fix to go live on Wednesday October 8, 2014.

    Thank you--I thought it was user error on my part!

    * Update 10/8/2014 *

    This issue was resolved with the release that went into production this morning (10/8/2014). Appriss informed me they could only fix this issue on all offender violation reports created after the fix went live. It did not address those OVRs where the text already had spaces replaced with "%20".

    For those OVRs, you can still read the text by copying it from the PDF text box and then pasting in the box on this URL: http://urldecoder.waraxe.us/
